I constantly see these two words used in place of each other on this and other forums. This shouldn't be so hard. These are simple four letter words. Please make an effort to use them correctly.

Then:
Used to indicate what happened or what happens next.

I was younger then. Eat dinner then you can have dessert.

Than:
Used to introduce the second element in a comparison.

I like MWO more than Battletech. My score is higher than your score.

Thank you for your cooperation.

I hate it when people mess up they're then's and than's. Its more annoying then a crying baby. I'd like to take these people and there keyboards and toss them out in the streets, and than slam the door in they're faces. Their the scum of the earth.

Or you could start communicating with their native language instead of English? And see how many "small" grammar mistakes you will make.

Is it better than ever or better then ever? Because as far as I am concerned, either way the question or point is understandable and even clear. That is all one should expect on a video game’s internet fourm ffs.

It is better than ever is correct. When you use the whole expression it makes more sense. It is better than it ever was.

Than is correct in that sentence because it introduces the second element of the comparison. You were comparing it to it in a different time.

I agree that they both sound correct and it took a minute for me to realize which was correct. Well played sir.

i don't get the millennial obsession with using nouns and adjectives as verbs. and autocorrect has created a race of people who dont know how to spell. and to be fair my generation did neglect caps and punctuations to attain faster typing speeds. touch screens have horrible command rates.

English is NOT my native language .
Funnily enough I have to correct native English speakers way too often ...
