I've been having fun creating builds for the Holiday Bonus Corsair now that its up on mech.nav-alpha.com. I call this the "Zombie Splat Pirate".

(2xLB10-AC,3xSRM4,3MPLaz,STD Engine 305)

what is that mech lab software i see everyone using? did it replace smurfys?

Not entirely, no. But it has some advantages, like filtering chassis by quirks and hardpoints
