So far I actually like the changes. I did not think I would. You lose the arc over friendlies directly in front of you but gain some other cool things you can do. I was prelocking in cover, moving out of cover firing my LRMs IDF, then as I crested was able to maintain my own lock and fire a second volley in DF mode. Then both volleys hit at roughly the same time giving a "double volley" hitting at two angles at once.

I will test more when I can get matches again lol. There are other mechs and builds I would like to test.
