The nerfs are multiple, aye. It will still be a good meta mech to use though, post this patch. In comparison, the forgotten Banshee-3M...

yes, light mechs are so op they need nerfing, that's why they're so popular, right?!?

yeah, lets keep ******** all over the hardest class to play, instead of making other lights usable

Meh...

You guys will get used to the constant nerfs.

Trust me im a lurm guy. I have been nerfed so much that a single unmodified lrm 20 only does about 4.67 damage to the CT. The spread is so large im doing more damage to mechs extremities; like thier legs and arms.

Oh wait...

Your legs.

Did you forget its pgi policy to nerf lights with every patch either directly or indirectly through the weapons (now formerly great) equipment, and base stat nerfs lights need to be competitive? Jenner says welcome fishy bro.

Legging the 20 ton mechs is one of the most satisfying things this game has to offer.
I like the changes - WTG PGI!

About time, you can't have a glass cannon with defensive quirks.

Still boasts the highest sustained DPS of any mech.

I'm still waiting for the proof that the Piranha needed nerfed more than the good assault mechs.

What if, instead of nerfing light mechs that are strong backstabbers, PGI were to code in rear-facing weapons and a rear camera, so someone concerned enough about Piranhas could blast 'em with an Atlas' canonical pair of rear medium lasers?

So many of the people I encounter on flanks or hiding in the back can't aim forward, what makes you think they're going to be able to aim backward?

While that would be great.
Mwo style hardpoint bloat and weapon shaming would mean 2 IS med lasers would be a joke.
Just look at the Pillager.
http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Pillager
"allows the 'Mech to mount an obscene array of weapons"

Armament

2x Gauss Rifles
4x Medium Lasers
1x Large Laser

Run of the mill around here.

"For close range combat, the Pillager has four Ceres Arms Medium Lasers that provide a devastating close range barrage. "

Read that.
Now read it again.

How does that fair in mwo land?

A pitiful joke indeed.

Sad.
But true.

ANH-1X and any other Quad LB10-X mech disagrees.

Any Anni with quad ballistic class 10 weapon, or AC5 with RAC 5 or AC 2 with RAC 2/5.
