Is it possible for a mech to maintain operation at 100% heat without shutting down and engine damage and no override? I saw one player running a 6 ml phoenix hawk (did not saw the mech model) and keep shooting till heat reached 100%. This was repeated a few time during the game. He only encountered 1 shutdown with no engine damage. My mech normally shut down at 100% with +10% heat dissipation and + 15% max heat. Cannot figure out how he did it. It is due to better cooling efficiency such that 100%will drop immediately to 99% and avoided the shutdown. Only PHX-KK has an additional -5% heat quirk but he runs 6ml so it is not this mech. Can to share your view on this matter?

Did he have override on? 100% itself does not damage your internals from my experience since it drops down to 99% pretty fast, but 101% onwards will do.

1. You can't trust what you see in spectator mode, there are a handful of bugs related to hud displays.
2. Yes, you can ride 100% without shutting down. Many good players factor in the dissipation lost from moving on the heat cost of an alpha, chain fire, group fire etc.
3. Yes, you can go a tiny bit over threshold and shut down without taking damage.
