While it's strangely omitted from Patch Notes, you will find you can now buy up to 32 FP drop decks!

I've been wanting this feature for years. So thank you PGI for delivering, it's greatly appreciated.

Now, if we could get also get a celebratory drop deck sale going - to encourage us to buy and spend MC on more drop decks - then I'd go from happy little Mechwarrior to ecstatic little Mechwarrior!

Whats the point ? You can usually swop to desired mechs and builds for specific maps or tactics during the lobby wait .

when you have 250+ Mechs in your hangar, finding the right ones can be time consuming...

What often happens to me is this...

• I drop into lobby, see the map and mode, and select one of my existing four decks best suited.
  
• Someone suggests a team strategy.
  
• Someone else disagrees.
  
• Debate ensues.
  
• The 60 second pre-match countdown commences.
  
• I ask for a final decision.
  
• Team settles on some specific Mech combination or weird-*** strategy.
  
• Now there's only 40 seconds left on the clock.
  
• Mad scramble to scroll through 350 Mechs to find the ones for the agreed strategy.
  
• Get three Mechs locked in, find out I'm either over tonnage and invalid, or leaving 40t unused.
  
• Even madder scramble to find a 4th Mech which utilises the tonnage within the strategy.
  
• Hit "Select".
  
• Discover timer had already reached zero, I didn't change deck in time, and I'm dropping with SRMs on Polar Highlands, or HLLs on Terra Therma, or NARC-LRMs on Mining Colony, or...

So I am very much looking forward to pre-configuring many more decks, so I can do much less mad scrambling in the final 60 seconds before the drop.

They are 1200MC a deck right?
If so if you buy all 32 of them it's a costly endeavor for an extra saving slot for decks.

At 1200 MC a drop deck? Never going to happen. EVER. I have 12900 MC sitting around I do not have any plans for, but I'll be damned if I'll spend them on drop decks if said drop decks are 1200 MC each.

I think it is a little dangerous to buy dropdecks right now because it is not official and PGI might roll back it in hotfix.

1,200 MC for a drop deck ... if you wait for 50 % off on mech bays you can buy 8 of them.
That is 8 new mechs that you need to master and play for hours and hours.. you will get some entertainment out of it.

On top of that, most of you [Redacted] are lrmers . You need 20 - 30 decks each costing 1.200 mc
so you have roll up on rolls of your favorite lrm boats carefully chosen & placed,
depending on their camo and the paint of their toe nails ?

That aside, it is your MC... can do what you want with it, but may as well get something you may have fun with
...as i said in most of your cases that is Anni with lrms... and with nicely painted toe nails to.

Never needed more than two decks. One long range deck and one what i feel like deck.

This is what I wonder - I feel like it was something that wasn't meant to happen.

I mean just organsing them and remembering etc would be more work than having 4!

Stravag plz. I have two hundred mechs, including duplicates purchased specifically for FW drop decks. I need another mechbay like I need a second neurohelmet.
