Great.
Another discord I won't use because it's bloated trash.

Well, hmm seems kinda odd to bring something like this out this late in the game (no pun) but if it gives the competitive players more to do then whatever.

It’s nice having one place where things are consolidated. Looking forward to the next event!

There have been half a dozen different leagues since MWO started. Currently MRBC (and the owners of it) are taking a break. The people still active in organising/casting needed some creative freedom and thus MWO Comp was created as a big consolidation of it all.

We are about to start another tournament which will have roughly 30-40 teams comprising of 8-16 players each. All of whom are participating across various levels so while you might think it late in the game Comp play is still going and PGI's continuing support for it is amazing.

Whether you are a super competitive or just a casual that wants to do something different - all our leagues will be for you as there are various divisions for skill levels etc.

So far we have upcoming:

Martial Olympiad Reborn - 8 v 8 (starting within 4 weeks).
Battle for Midway - 6 v 6 (later in year)
Trial of Combat - 5 v 5 - Rules being worked on.

All of this is coming this year, same as it has years previous. Also other units that are running events organise stuff/post there so things like the upcomimng ISC Comp by Aces Wild is also coming up as will other 1 v 1 and similar.

So competitive MWO whilst a little quiet compared to say 2016, is still going strong and being run by a team of people committed to it all.

Thanks PGI for the ongoing support, this season of MOR we will be giving away a copy of MW5 and Battletech to a lucky viewer.

Make sure you join our discord and follow/Sub to our twitch and youtube.

Thanks Live

It IS too late in the game and this is their attempt to go back. There are hardly any teams still together after PGI started putting penalties on large units, made sure that game play was focused on the random user's chance for a game through the queue and made it easy to just switch sides penalty free without any true loyalty. You can't have a war if everyone is changing sides all the time. And don't make me mention the unit coffers. Put more reason to be on a team besides a minimal effort like creating a Discord channel . . . . .

Ah this is player owned/run. PGI are just being kind enough to help get the work out there. Us being the Admin team - Live / Kras / Myself and a bunch of support staff.

What you are referencing sounds like Faction Warfare... That has absolutely nothing to do with Competitive League play within MWO, the topic of this thread/post.
