I don't really feel like setting them up, but I remember their equipment:

UAC20+2xMRM30 with an LFE350 or LB20X+MRM40+MRM30 with a STD340

I have build and skilled the former, but it does run hot and I am not sure which one's superior. I can always run the latter, but I want some other input on the builds.

Well TBH - If it was me, neither. I'd never take a UAC20 or LBX20 when you can take a AC20 for that PPFLD or HGauss if you're going STD engine.

UAC20s jam duration makes them objectively bad and a LBX20 spreads heavily.

What Atlas variant? If I was HGauss it would me MRM40 to compliment and maybe a MPL or two.
If it was AC20 probably MRM30 or SRMs and a lot more lasers.

Damn I’m dumb I could just take an ac20. It’s an As7-D. Hgauss mrm40 and 4mpl or Erml seems a bit undergunned but hgauss has no heat, so I might consider it. The anni and fafnir seem like much better options for hgauss

HGauss/MRM40 and MPL us undergunned? Posted Image

Dude it's a 80pt alphas+ - depends how many lasers you put on and how hot/slow you wanna be. If not 4MPL use 4ML instead.

I think I phrased that wrong. I didn’t really mean undergunned, it’s just that other builds seem more dps heavy, and leading the weapons with different velocities seems tedious, at least to me.

What other builds are DPS heavy? UAC20?. UAC20 -technically- is until you jam - then you are literally stuffed for 7seconds or whatever it is. That is the opposite of DPS.

HGauss is 9DPS with a max of 18DPS+ (that does not include skill tree). I can't see how anything else is going to be higher / more consistent.

AC20 build is 9.5/23max which is pretty brutal.

The only other option is something like this AS7-D. Which is similar to all the others really with more accuracy.

What exactly do you mean by other builds are more 'DPS heavy'?

Ok so what about this on AS7-K?
AI082:f1|i^|i^|i^|1c|Y?|Y?p>1|Q@|[<2q>1|[@|=P|=Pro0|f?|AO|Y?so0|f?|Y?tc0|GP|=Puc0|GP|=Pv80|HPw606060

I'm not minmaxing here, I want to have fun and not dabble into the meta nonsense too much.
And don't comment on CASE, that's a comfort pick, ok Posted Image Shush Posted Image
How well would this work, why yes and why no?

Quirks on K are:
Gauss cooldown -10%
Ballistic cooldown -10%
Energy cooldown -10%
Energy range +15%
Missile cooldown -20%
tons of armor quirks
Crit hit chance (receiving) -25%

I really meant the Uac20 as a dps heavy weapon. It does jam, often when I can’t disengage. I’ll look into the heavy gauss build.

AC20, 2x MRM30, STD325, poke with MRMs initially, then go in guns blazing when the brawl starts

Can be done with a DDC for ECM cover as well

You could try this, although you're pretty well stuck in the 270m bracket.

AS7-D

Swapping out to an STD 300 would let you zombie in it too.

AS7-D BBRRAAAINNNNSSSS!

If you're going for spammable damage (not quite the same as pure DPS or hard alpha) and that satisfying sound rather than hard damage, why not twin UAC/5s, or UAC/10 and whatever you can fit under it? UAC/20 requires you to be far too close if you're not going for the hard-hit-and-kill. And if you were considering an LB-20X, I know the weight can be prohibitive, but twin LB-10X is better than LB-20X whenever possible as well as a boatload colder. If set to chain fire the down time between shots is really short.

Just a thought.
