Throwing in more bonus mechs at this point, on top of Maruader pack just reeks of desperation. Making them exclusives after April? Even worse. Just cements my resolve not to pre-order and wait for reviews of the game.

Let's see how many people get burned this time.

Don't get me wrong, if MW5 turns out to be a great game, I will pay full retail for it. And I hope it turns out great. But knowing PGI's track record..... Good luck.

Honestly disappointed. More heavies than I'll ever use. We already got 3 heavies and 1 assault from the loyalty program in 2018, and just got 2 more assaults from the xmas. We already have been fed so many heavies and assaults on top of the Marauder II and Warhammer IIC also being released.

I'm quite frankly tired of them. I'd like something different for once. If anything, they should've given us 1 light 1 medium 1 heavy and 1 assault, so there was a mech from each weight class for every person out there who enjoys different weight classes aside heavy and assaults.

I know this'll sounds like, "Why is this a problem for you? Don't use them then if you don't like them. Stop complaining about free things" It kinda is the point I'm trying to make. I'm not getting anything worthwhile out of the bonuses because I in reality will probably never touch these mechs because I'm just not that much a fan of these weight classes or these specific mechs in general. I'm sure theres probably people who'd like to preorder but these bonuses are slightly offputting as well. I'm probably in the minority here but thats just me as a person with different tastes.

The equal value of MC you get from the preorder isn't enough to buy several other mechs of your own choosing...

If you don't alraedy own them. But I already have all the mech variants I could ever want from the chassis I enjoy. So your criticism is flawed and doesn't take account for that.

There are some salty, entitled dudes commenting here, I tell ya what...

At first, I thought that I missed out on these four mechs by pre-ordering before when they were offering the MAR 2 packs and MC's etc. Then, I realized that I'd be getting these as well. Redeemed them today. Just go to the MW5 site for the redeem codes.

Thanks, PGI. I'm really excited about all four of these, actually, assuming that they have a 30% C-Bill bonus. All four of these mechs have interesting load-outs. I haven't gotten around to buying a King Crab or an IS Warhammer, so this is great. I don't care if you're just trying to sell a sh*tload of pre-orders by throwing lots of MWO goodies at us. I'll take it all. It's been a hell of a value.

exactly. The salt is real. This is four more mechs that for all you knew, you weren't getting before. Like them or hate them they are BONUS and so are the mech bays that come with them.

Thank you PGI for listening to the community on the exclusiveness of the variants. Makes me feel better not having potential limited release pay-to-win mechs. A fair playing ground and access to it is vital for the game.

Russ' first tweet on the matter was pretty clear. He changed his mind.
