So what is the max an optimum range of the Heavy Guass when it's unquirked or fully quirked with all range nodes?

also along with what is mentioned above, minimum range of.
Heavy PPC?

Light PPC?

Snub nose?

Do quirks effect the minimum range?

What are the range brackets for ATM unquirked and fully quirked with all range quirks?

Mininimum range? Effected by quirks?

As of this moment, no quirks or skills have any impact on a weapon's minimum range. It's minimum range should always remain consistent. For example, ATMs have a hard minimum of 120m, and (L)PPCs have a minimum range of 90m.

So do PPCs and Heavy PPCs the only ones i know that don't have a minmium is the Snub nosed and both the ERPPC and the CERPPC. still i'm asking for more than that, also wanting to benifit new players with all the knowledge...

You are correct. I should have posted (L)(H)PPC. Though, I was trying to just give a brief example, I will not complain when someone helps cover all the bases.

For weapons like PPCs, it's easy to see it's base ranges. From there, it's a matter of the skills you take (you can figure out the max range skills from the tree, I'll look when I'm next on), and what ever shifting quirks your mech might have. As finding the mechs with the best range quirks would be a lot of work... It'd be difficult to say what your max possible range would be.

For simplicity, it does say your weapons base ranges in the mechlab, and then any bonuses will be represented in brackets with a (+/- number). Just add that number to your original, and you'll get your range. (A bit of a pain, I know.)

I can crunch some numbers when I'm next on the game. Some offline mechlabs might be able to help with that, such as Smurfy's or nav-alpha.

No mech quirks just the skill tree quirks.(To make it simple for now)

Max range increase from Skill Tree: 15% (1% per node.)

Heavy Guass:
Max range before: 900m
Max Range after: 1,035m

Heavy/ Light/ Normal PPC:(All have the same ranges.)
Max range before: 1,080m
Max Range after: 1,242m

Snub nose:
Max range before: 630m
Max Range after: 724.5m

Or at least if I'm doing my math right.
