Hi. What's happening with Crimson Strait?
Is it out from choosing match options??
I do not see it since... the beginning of the challenge.

Got the banshee. Earnt 3 of the 500s honestly with Artic Wolf and Cyclops. Cheesed two with the SNV-A. One of the SNV matches we had 3 on the team, all in similar config, and well called targets. I'm not sure if the enemy had any AMS, but it really didn't matter... felt that sorry for them that I played a few KFX-C matches after to try and appease the gods of AMS.

Finally got Crimson. Only saw it twice since event started, first time lost to Glare Valley. All done save for trying to get a win in Faction Play as a non-comms solo Pugger...

3 times 500 or 5 times 400 would have been better. That wouldn't have been easy for many but 5 times 500 is...excessive. Everything must fit together there:
1. you must perform well
2. your team is mediocre
3. the enemy team is mediocre
4. no afk/DCers (lol we know how rare that is)

Well sometimes you can get lucky and have a game where your light is the last mech, and there is one assault enemy left, with no ammo. dmg farming

Reading comprehension helps...I already have one. If you're a collector or enjoy challenges, by all means go for it. My post was not meant to dissuade people, but to lessen their stress over it and hopefully lessen the whining on the forums that usually follows.

the 500 isn't working for FP as I have multiple mechs get well over 500. So the 500 limit is for QP only games. It is counting for under 500 for some reason. . . .

I'll admit, I'm getting tiered of some players staying back to farm damage in hopes of breaking 500 while their teammates get ran over.

QP tends to have quite a nasty mix bag of tryhard, hardly trying, and afk/dc but its infuriatingly bad now - earlier I cornered a 4xLRM15 archer, a ERppc mist lynx, and 2xERLL stealth raven all hanging out together away from their team hoping to milk their way to 500ms.

500 MS with potato teammates is almost impossible.
(And potato teammates are the only thing we can rely on in this game)
Never-mind how much of a moving target matchscore is, earlier had a 3 kill, 7 assist, 2 kmmd, 800 damage match... only 400 MS.

Anyone else having horrendous games?

I've had a few 400+ games mainly running streak boats but even with matches with four kills 9 components destroyed and 700+ damage games still can't get there.

Done, sold the Banshee for about 7 million cbills wich got straight into some on sale engines

Nice event btw. 500 matchscore is a good challenge, keep it up!

I've been having fun with this and grinding to buy as many useful engines I can.

The hardest part for me (other than hoping that people vote for the right map) has been winning a faction match. I've been trying to win a scouting match to save time instead of invasion, but as clan, I have yet to see a win. We keep getting wiped out by teams of crabs and bushwachkers. I guess I'll just do an invasion match instead.

For anyone struggling to make the 500 match score, try this loadout for the MCII-B. Try for component destruction and target softened enemies. If you are an average pilot, you can get 500 match score easy.
