Some of these are objectively bad configs, but I have way too many 'Mechs not to use some of them for trolling.

ADR-CN: Laser blaster. Because of the long burn time, you'll want to be careful with your trades- only peek when you're relatively sure you can do unopposed, ideally while one of your teammates is taking the return fire for you. Reposition between shots. Do not attempt to brawl; you will die.

COM-TDK: The lower facetime and extra firepower of MPL is worth dropping the engine to a 225.

COU-BA: Same armament as the Adder above, but slightly different playstyle. ECM lets you peek safely on your own, if you see an opportunity, but on the other hand you're slower so repositioning takes longer. On the other other hand, even just one extra sink really helps this build. Still not a good brawler. Very good at surprise kills, though. Nobody really expects that much firepower from a light 'Mech, especially not at 400m+.

FS9-E: Pure knife fighter with great, cool-running DPS. The downside is you need to get extremely close to use it. The upside is that it chews through 'Mechs almost as fast as a Piranha.

FS9-FS: Same config with the hardpoints reshuffled.

FLE-R5K: Rocket troll. You'd be better off with SRM2s for the missiles, but it's a one-for-one swap so either fits.

JR7-O: Totally eclipsed by the Assassin, these days. A Jenner without JJs is a sad Jenner indeed.

JR7-IIC-FY: I'm an idiot, and you should never do this, but the Fury is sort of crap anyway and big AC troll lights are fun.

KFX-PR: Dem laser ears. KFX-G arm for ECM because everyone still expects it to be on the other side, so they end up shooting off the wrong side of your 'Mech and you get to keep your ECM to poke ERLL with.

LCT-PB: Fun, but there are better stealth lights (COM-2D comes to mind) and even better laserpeek stealth lights (FLE-20).

OSR-SE: You could drop the sinks for a pair of MGs or LMGs and ammo, but IMO it isn't worth losing the cooling for the 25% MG rate of fire quirk.

PIR-CI: It's a Piranha- what more is there to say?

RVN-H: Yes, I know the 4X can do AC20 as well, but literally the only reason I even got the Huginn was so I'd have a BoomBird with a cbill bonus. I'm strange like that. Normal people generally run MRMs on these now, or so I hear.

SDR-A: Anansi is a badmech- all of the Spiders are, now; they don't have enough hardpoints. Still a fun little harasser.

UM-K9: I know in my head that 5xMPL is the best K9 build... but screw it. I have a Grinner for that. Officer Urbie is for fun, and the third energy hardpoint on that arm covers up part of the skin. I regret nothing!

UM-SC: LPL and ERML make a great pairing at any tonnage. Peek with the lasers, save the HMGs for cleanup time.

WLF-GR: Simple, effective, and boring... but predictability can be good sometimes too.
