Since the latest patch the regional server selection hasn't been working consistently - while re-logging sometimes works, it doesn't always. Fortunately this setting is stored in an easily-edited text file, so here are some instructions on setting it if you haven't been having luck with re-logging:

• Find the Attributes file to edit. My file is C:\users\<username>\Saved Games\MechWarrior Online\Profiles\attributes.xml
  
• Open the file with a text editor while the game is not running, and find the line that says something like:

• Edit the value to select your regions. The value starts at 0, then you add to it according to each server you want to search in - +1 for North American, +2 for European, and +4 for Oceanic. For example, NA and EU would be 1 + 2 = 3.
  
• Save the file and start the game!

This is a smart approach!
I'm usually just changing into the FP screen and back if I feel the need to change servers and it's not working initially. This has been a reliable solution for me so far.
