Side A 5 players, Side B 40 players
Side A players can't switch to side B, Side B players can switch to side A until the population hits 23:22
should allow people to even out the population to get drops, yet prevent teams from stacking one side to hide from a strong team
perhaps allow tagged units to overflow the balancing a little to not have to break up 12mans, might make joining a unit slightly more enticing as right now there are no benefits at all
ex que is 10:24, allow the 12man in the 24 side to switch to make a drop with 22:12

I cannot speak to how these features got implemented as I was not involved with their production, nor am I involved with the production on any of the new features that Paul has mentioned in other threads. As you have said, my primary focus has not up to this point been Faction Play. Those kinds of conversations would have to go in their respective threads to reach the people actually involved with their production. As I simply wouldn't be the one that would be able to speak on those points.
I can only speak to the things that I do have direct control over. Which in this case is using the system I have to craft the conflicts themselves. So while I am not the ideal guy to take in feedback on larger point macro systems that govern everything in Faction play, I can say that I'm more then willing to take in feedback on the things that I do have direct control over, which in this case is using the system I have available to me to craft the story points, and the general flow of the different phases of conflicts.
Forget what half of those nonsense posts that are off topic in here read.
You need to know that the Europeans are starving for siege games.

I wlll note that at a bare minimum giving us this kind of information does not actually require any kind of coding at all - just a forum thread with a schedule. Presumably, if you guys are spending time creating these stories, you're doing it more than just 5 minutes in advance. Tell us what is coming.

OCE evenings we used to meet in teamspeak and divide into groups so we could get games...
i remember ye olde dayes, it wasn't perfect, people cried a LOT about lurms, but we got games.

Team stacking is the gorilla in the corner.
Far too many times I've seen this.
And watch guys and girls in pickup faction matches just give up.
Feel free to toss those "git gud" grenades now or the oblique personal insults now.
But that gorilla is still in the corner with a big stack of banana's.
Personally I like the story time route although the lack of sieges is just bad.

With that being said, would it be possible to just make a survey and ask some FP related questions?
Like rating:
- the game modes that are offered in FP
- the maps offered in FP and not currently offered
- Phase length
And other questions that might be important to know.
From that data the dev team could work towards adding maps or removing them, remove game modes that are not wanted in FP and so on.
It would be easier to overview then read everyone's essays they putt on the forums.

Siege only works for randomized games . To keep lemmings from making a run for it , its probably going to be very seldom or given the boot .

Outside of that I've been getting games easily in EU and OC - I never thought I would ever say that lol.
Occassionally there are a day here/there there is no one in the queues but it feels like lately there is definately a little bit of an upswing.

Would've been against a unit/group dropping them. They are exceptionally strong for tonnage. I use a couple regularly.
