A note on this... story points branch depending on how the phase plays out. If Faction A wins, it goes along the winning path. If Faction B wins, it goes along the losing path. We are still talking about solutions that reuse the current code.

These events should have a bigger rewards at the end depending on the participation. It would be kind of like a mini "Battle of Tukayyid" but based on the amount of recon/damage/kills the MW had on the battlefield. These different game modes sort of give the same feel to the battles but with no real reason to commit beyond the current event rewards. Since we don't have a vested interest in completing all the conflicts and no economy to keep us fighting as a unit/faction, giving us something at the end regardless of win or less that depends on the number battles/damage/kills/recon (participation).

Maybe even, gasp, a growing percentage bonus for the next set of conflicts as different faction fighters. The bonuses could get insane after about ten missions but so could the number of participants as the final missions drew to a close. We would all have a vested interest in this faction winning because even though the loser still gets bonuses at the end. It is maybe half or less than half what the winners get.

So all this fine work on story mode.
And we basically go back to where we were.
With players able to jump sides willy nilly once again?
One of the main reason why faction turned into a wasteland.
Sad.

can you guys please, please remove incursion, nobody wants to play it and people just leave when it comes up

it just doesn't work with 4 waves of selectable mechs, it never did

Everyone else is wrong, dammit.

And really, do you want to keep limiting the way we can play this game? How long until people get uppity about domination or conquest and start agitating to get rid of them? Won't be long until it's just skirmish and siege.

I take a break till 23.06......hope the new patch will bring improvements.

PGI should not forget that some bought a lot of stuff. I have over 4 years of premium time. To shut down means to reduce our bought stuff. How can they sell Mechpacks with premium time with shutting down in their minds?

Nobody would buy a car when the producer says. We will not support our now sold cars in a few month anymore...WTF PGI.

what if extra turrets were added?
could maybe fix incursion with just over 9000 turrets.

Well after all i gotta say i utterly hate the new matchmaker system... whenever you´re not in a group you´ll get overtaken by others that are...
strike that "you´re next in queue message and replace it with... if you´re lucky you might get a match after all

edit: and please please stop these IS vs IS or Clan vs Clan events pretty please, they keep a lot of players from playing... or rather ruining their weekends in MWO... well back to the BT game, now that the actual event has changed from clan vs IS to IS vs IS ( couldn´t give a rats a$$, playing IS mechs, sorry but thats not my cup of tea)

Don´t wonder why many more people are leaving the game when you keep f****ng them in the ...sorry kids don´t read this... &(%%/($=$%§&$§=(&/)/(&%($&$

Can´t you just make at least one thing right??? Is it too hard to understand that, or do you really want to bury MWO six feet under?


Disappointed while being kicked out of the waiting queue cause factions changed to IS vs IS again...

can you pls do the next one, cause "we" are far from finished here. I mean, the loyalist-thing is nice and also needed, but there are other things that need to be adressed; some fixes could be quite fast (kicking incursion for example), so pls: update. thx ;)

update: LuRMs work perfectly, the storylines are so good that players are too enthralled reading them to be able to play, but it's ok because the matchmaker has increased the population by over nine thousand. PGI see no need for any further updates.
