yes more seige. i think its a mistake to use siege as kind of a boss mode. its not like anyone plays long enough for a stories to come to completion. you simply cant due to population. no to incursion removal, instead rework the mode to be more viable in an fp environment. id rather see pgi follow through for once than throw it away.

the fancy walls play almost no role. you should have to blast through a lot of them to get to objectives and they should have more hit points. the tower effects have always been week. make the towers do something more useful. like summoning the long tom, once per battery with a 5 min cd. add ac20 turrets to the bases, put ammo (battery) in the tower and they can stop a crab/linebacker rush. radar and jammer would be better if it had a detection radius and was always on. you could even put towers out in the middle of the map to control strategic areas. like the whole map should be walls, towers and turrets which can be capped by either side to control movement through the maze.

There is no way to make incursion viable. Just remove it.

The QP maps in FP are the real problem... Faction has unique maps for a reason... asymmetrical maps offers a different gameplay experience and challenge. The most fun I've had in MWO have all come on Siege maps. I know many who say the same.

I wouldn't mind playing normal QP maps if Siege were 50% of FP, but right now, what is it, 5%? Less? That's far too little. PGI had some good ideas when they designed Siege. Originally FP was only Siege, plus Hold Territory and Counter Attack. That was the golden age compared to what we have now.

Its a shame to hide the most fun maps in MWO behind what is effectively glorified QP.

build the incursion walls out of the stuff the siege walls are made of, and build the gates out of the crud the incursion walls are made of, it's silly the way it is but it could work if it were sensibly done.

maybe if everything had 4x the hitpoints and there were ac20 turrets, and tower effects were more pronounced.

And if PGI is not willing to change Incursion at all? (which is the point we're at)

just so everyone knows- it was siege alone, nothing but siege, for about 8hours last night Oceanic and we got ZERO games.

throw out matchmaker, there are only enough people online twice a week for it to matter, and perhaps just delete incursion from the invasion roster as you aren't going to fix it.
