007: The Spy Who Loved Me

Rated PG
1977

Roger Moore Plays James Bond, along side Barbara Bach who stars as XXX.

The movie starts out with James Bond racing down hill with some bad guys right on his tail, which he deals with, Bond style. He finds himself attempting to track down a pair of missing subs. While trying to meet with a potential contact at a the pyramids, he encounters an iconic foe--Jaws (not the fish). Later while traveling by train, Jaws tries to put the bite upon Bond. Eventually Bond discovers the Villain Stromberg and his aquatic fortress where the final show down happens.

Plenty of dead bodies, action scenes including a massive shootout aboard a trick tanker, suggestive content, and one super cool car that turns into a mini sub. While it may be rated PG, may not be suitable for younger viewers or for the politically correct. Otherwise it's good movie, one of the "Bond Classics", and keeping in mind that it used 1970's tech, darn cool.

Good movie, but has nothing to do with the (far better) novel by Ian Flemming...
