Pitch Black

Rated R
Starring Vin Diesel

After surviving a crash upon a desolate planet, the survivors are hunted by unseen creatures.

The movie put Vin Diesel on the map of being the most feared anti-hero imaginable. The movie even starts out scary, with a ship about to enter the debris trail of a comet along side some great nerve crushing music. Damaged, the ship crash lands upon a dry, forgotten planet. One of the survivors is Riddick, a lethal prisoner who has the ability to see in the dark, and at first seems to be the main villain of the movie, however as the first survivors begin to be picked off, he becomes the anti-hero, who the survivors come to depend upon as dreadful nocturnal subterranean creatures come out to feed during an eclipse.

Not for kids, violence, blood, foul language, but one heck of a great movie.
