Since I never got PGI to reduce the maximum size of FP groups to less then 12 players, I'm taking the opposite approach :
ENCOURAGE grouping in FP, by giving players some kind of bonus for grouping.
"AN EXAMPLE" would be +5% rewards (cbills, xp...) per player grouped in FP, up to a total of 12x5% = +60% bonus
In counterpart, the default rewards for solo players could be reduced to something like ~40%, so that ~40% + 12x5% = ~100% of the current rewards.
So yes, players would still be stomped, grouped or not grouped... But as long as they group they make up to 2.5 more gains (100 / 40 = 2.5x more gains), which means a grouped loss would still be the ~same as a solo win.
QP rewards stay at 100%, grouped or not, as the easier way for new solo players to earn their first Cbills without having to group.
I believe this would benefit casual groups, by allowing them to get rematches once they've got a first good match running, instead of currently slowly queuing back up solo and having a random group show up at the last second and snatch their rematch from them.
So... win (team1) win (team2) win (PGI) ?
