I don't play Overwatch, but interesting article that outlines general expected survival based on health pool and hit box size.

Is there a way to measure the size of hit boxes for MWO?

Obviously "ear'ed" mechs are a dangerous choice to use, but I am curious how bad the hitbox surface area compared to the structure of location (side torso, center torso, etc.) is.

We should probably multiply by speed squared for a 'MWO survivability quotient'.

Its more involved than that since overwatch heroes have only 1 hit box per se, than mechs that have 8. And MWO is a much less fast paced game, so profiles matter much more.

I was afraid of that.

I was hoping someone with 3d modeling experience and the right software would be able to extract the info more easily.
