Do you think it being an Epic Games exclusive for a year would hurt sale?
I'm afraid of not having friend to play with in PvE. Is there an automatic PvE game finder because I think the game needs it. Finding friends to play PvE in Epic Games would be impossible for me.

Twitter Russ, it's the only way pgi communicates. What russ tells you and what happens are two different things entirely.

Well, in general PVE in terms of the campaign would have you join someone else's single player or your single player with others joining it. Credit doesn't go to those joining however like progress and stuff. So there's unlikely a matchmaker for that.

Instant action on the other hand is supposed to have a match maker and it is supposed to have a PVE option, so there is that. Since its a normal multiplayer and not a monetized one, I wouldn't expect to be leveling up and the such so much as just having fun with strangers and meeting other fans. I imagine PGI also hopes that doing so will have you and said friends jumping into MWO together....except any group smaller than 4, MWO treats like dirt in terms of the match makers.

I hope it does come with a cross-store/store independent matchmaking because I have ZERO friends on Epic Games.

I too want to play MW5 with friends, so I bought copies for them. If HBS Battletech would have had PvE Co-op I would have bought more than one copy of that game as well.

To be fair the game isn't even out yet so there's not much content for them to talk about, and many of the people who do talk about it use the MWO forums and other various BT subreddits.

My opinion is no. The way Epic do Cross Promotion is hither to undreamed of since Soul Calibur 4 crossed over with Star Wars : The force unleashed, but better.

The Fortnite battle map allows Epic to cleverly zone areas for other games and player creations. Thanos, John Wick, Black Widow can battle it out in modes and game types. With the actual games, Borderlands 3, actual had a rift zone that amazingly transitioned into that graphical type of style. Batman is around the corner too. Fort-tastic!



How does this relate to MWO? Well, Epic have introduced arguably the most salt inducing mech build into Fortnite. The BRUTE. This allows the 200 million plus player base to get a taste of mecha combat. A lot, and I mean a lot hate it, but there are some that like it.

The Battle Royal mode allows items that have been earn't to come across to Fortnite's PVE Co-op - Save the World. This is the type of game co-op is what I hope MWO with the backing of Epic, will achieve.

It's great. Really fun and great. I also hope in time that our Founder's mecha and items come accross like the Fortnite Model too

These are some of the benefit's of Co-op MW5 gameplay ;

* - No 7 plus disconnects by a ddos attacking entity trying to get a Death Star achievement.
* - no collusion or spying by 2 players on the same team with the same unit tag on team speak giving away builds or positions
*- no afk's
* - no personality clashes, as you can filter out the players from mwo who frequently attack sex, religion, politics, culture in all chat or over voip.
* an actual 4 man team working together, without having to worry about 8 other people.

Even if you don't get MW 5, The Epic installer on PC gives away a game for 0 dollars every week or so. And at this time of writing, 6 Batman games!!!!!!!

My name is going to be the same, though I admit I'm not gonna download epic's launcher until the game is closer to release. Feel free to add me on steam under the same name as well.

Soon as it is ready, mine's gonna be running my weapon mod.

The news that MW5 is going to feature a weapon upgrade system and not a weapon brand system and they'll try a weapon brand system "if we got time" in an AMA only a few months ago really disgusts me as it was one of the big points that they had in the footage of the pre-alpha (each weapon's brand name was listed during the startup sequence, down to the targeting system). I'm not pleased. Sure the groundwork for my mod is still there (HBS Battletech had both which effectively used an identical setup, and basically I can replace magical weapon upgrades with brand names and fiddle with stats and firing mechanics then bam, unique weapon brands).
