Yeah, they're not going to be available as bonus content with MC purchase. But they are still supposed to be going on sale.

I wonder when someone from PGI will notice. I have tweeted, posted in the event thread, and posted this separate thread.

Is it worth buying extra Drop Decks? I bought 8k MC hoping to spend on some Hero mechs and Mech Bays.

not really. i mean if you do a lot of fp drops and cant switch four mechs in a minute when a hot or long range map comes up then sure why not. but they are still pretty pricey. i get around it by putting a couple all rounders in my decks so i only have to switch a couple mechs. you can also keep alternates in your favorites list to make them easier to find. i won a third deck in the pts and i hardly ever use it.

Thanks. I was thinking along the same lines. The first time I played FW during the event, I had some issues saving my new mech selection 'cause I'd save it with 10 seconds to spare and somehow it wouldn't save. But just last weekend, I had gotten used to it.

I'll spend the MC on some Heroes then.

i've 8x dropdecks and only two get used for 99% of games (one IS and one clan).

no amount of dropdecks could be enough but perhaps one for each map would be acceptable.
double for mercenaries, they need two per map, one IS and one clan obviously.
then there's alt decks for certain maps depending who you drop with.
...by the time you get all the decks you need 5mins to find the right deck amongst the list.

*don't feel neglected, everyone has something to cry about

My nirvana would be to have the optimal deck ready to go for every combination* of Map and Mode.

I really hate the 90 second scramble to get my deck ready. With >400 Mechs, it takes time to remember which ones are best for which circumstances, find them, and ready up in time.

(I realise it's entirely possible to get by with only decks. But I like to try to optimise my engagements to the fullest extent possible, and also, to use a variety of Mechs instead of the same old 4 each time.)

* In practice, a lot of decks would be the same. Eg. The same deck for would work equally well for Skirmish and Assault modes on Polar Highlands and Alpine Peaks.
