Before we agree to buy a ticket there are some questions I would like to ask. Answer these questions truthfully and to the best of your ability because the past sometimes shows discreptances between the truth. In the event will vaping/e-cig usage be treated the same as smoking? The time of the event is listed as 5pm to 1am but will there be any activites to partake if we arrive early? And for the interesting areas best left unexplored could you elaborate? Not too sure what you are tying to say by that little blurb. Does it mean there are some problematic areas nearby or just that it's easy to be distracted by other venues? Super pods are listed as being there, have any changes been made to them since mechcon? With the picture showing water near the area are mosquitoes going to be a problem? I am not sure about this region of Canada at this time and know some places are much worse than others. The tips mentions keeping your phone charged, will portable external batteries be allowed? Can I bring more than one if I think it's an issue? How will the other fun activities be announced or will they be not disclosed ahead of time?

I'm not involved with the event (though I hope I can go) but as someone who lives in Vancouver I can tell you that:

1) Most venues treat Vaping / E-Cigs the same as smoking, so you have to go outside
2) For areas to not explore, do not go visit the Downtown East Side .. high crime rate, lots of drug users, etc
3) Mosquitos should not be a problem .. it's December in Canada!

Are you sure I can buy tickets from the venue or is this going to be an Epic exclusive also?

Well it is PGI; so I bet you guys will order your tickets, get to the event, and then get a message at the door about the event being hosted at another venue... but it's okay, because they'll let you keep the swag you got at the front door ;)

P.S. What happened to the narrative about needing the extra money from Epic for improving and developing the game?

Russ sure loves to waste money while telling us whenever he can how small and poor PGI is, well have fun at your yet another (not)MehCon while MWO is starving for new content(I'm not talking about mech packs btw) and dying heh.

they spent it on the party instead. both this one that the you can get tickets for, and second party where they get hooped up on goofballs and pat eachother on the back for exploiting the mechwarrior/battletech community.

Don't quite understand how a launch party for a game or product is so unusual it can to be criticized to just exists.

you must be new. see we don't have normal devs, what we have is pgi. pgi has done a poor job of instilling the faith of its customer base. over promising, under developing, stringing us along, outright failing various development tasks, not learning from those mistakes, and making even more mistakes. hince the saltiness of the community. at present the only thing pgi can do to remedy this situation is to deliver a mechwarrior game. im still waiting for that. if mwo is the way they managed to pay for it so be it. but they have to deliver a game. a party for a select handful of people is not a game and thus will draw infinite criticism.
