PGI: Most FP players don't want incursion. Why must we have this mode in FP? Not only that, but this is now the 5th straight incursion match in a row and its very tiresome.

PLEASE REMOVE INCURSION ONCE AND FOR ALL!

After that, we need to talk about Domination but that's less of an issue.

wow, you've got some serious patience, I've adopted a policy to quit until mode change after 2 incursions in a row many months ago

I love Incursion it's the best and most dynamic mode in the game.

Buildings can’t hide from LRMs.

These days I pretty much always play siege attack, no matter which side is defending. So who's fighting enemy firing lines and who's hiding behind friendlies? Get braver

This thread is very amusing, but in all seriousness. Repeating the same game mode constantly is very boring.

It's just like movies, the first one is good, the second one is the best, and the third one just ends up pissing off the fanbase.

Incursion wouldn't be so bad if the turrets were actually a threat. PGI should take their example from HBS. Throwing ACs,LRMs and big lasers make turrets something to be concerned about.

incursion on some maps need to be tweaked


other then that

your job as a Mech warrior is to over come any and all obstacles on your way to victory

Yeah, so you know what happens with ultra strong turrets?

One team turtles in the base and its basically a lesser form of siege.

Clan mechs get a serious advantage as they will poptart you from beyond turret range.

INCURSION IS BAD IN FP, THERE IS NO WAY TO FIX IT.

I don't like the mode. But it has one major advantage for me - its easier to get more kills from the enemy 12 men premade before they win:)

scouting is ok because it does NOT go all day, perhaps incursion could be tolerated thus?

incursion kills the queue faster than a stacked premade.

nobody is keen to play it, as best I can tell, and from my experience when I ask people to "come play MechWarrior?" their first questions are often "who is online?" and "it's not incursion is it?".


people don't bother logging in just IN CASE it may be incursion, this is beyond a warning sign.


please limit incursion phase duration.

Fix the FP MatchMaker so it favors the creation of group vs group matches, instead of currently launching group vs solo matches so fast there's never enough time for a second group to queue up... and suddenly the game mode stops to matter as much.

Even better : Give players an elo rating, and base rewards on those elo ratings, instead of on the amount of low tier solo players farmed per day.

No symmetric game mode is intrinsically bad, boring or unbalanced, as long as the teams aren't as completely asymmetric as they are in MWO.
