Hello all,

I've been watching the comp stream and can't help noticing that some of the mechs are relatively lightly armed. For instance, there was a WHM-IIC Maul sporting a single UAC10 and a single ERPPC, which is less firepower than you normally see in QP or FP.

Is there a particular reason for this other than personal preference?

Thanks!

Are you sure it wasn't halved at some point? ... Because thats what I think is what happened there. When you click on a mech in spectator mode it only shows the weapons that are still on it.

It was dual UAC10 / Dual ERPPC.

The mech lost a torso. When that happens and weapons are gone, they no longer appear to spectators. Same for jams - as MWO counts the weapon as dead when its inoperable.

mostly comp mechs carry even more weapons, since they don't need as much ammo, especially in 4v4 or less
