Does anyone has experiance with editing the ini files for unreal?

I just smashed it commands. For example I wanted to get rid of AA completly as FXAA that unreal uses seams to make the image somewhat blury.

You can find the ini files under -> Appdata/Local/MW5Mercs/saved/config/windowsnoeditor/

I edited the following files

->Engine.ini<-

[SystemSettings]
r.DefaultFeature.AntiAliasing=0
r.DefaultFeature.MotionBlur=0
r.DepthOfFieldQuality=0
r.DefaultFeature.AmbientOcclusion=1
r.AllowLandscapeShadows=1
r.AMDDisableAsyncTextureCreation=true
r.AMDD3D11MultiThreadedDevice=true
r.BloomQuality=0

Turns off AA, Motion blur, Depth of field and bloom
Should turn on Ambientocclusion and shadows on landscape
There are also two AMD workarounds also I had no problems so far with my Ryzen. Maybe its for the graphics cards. Someone with an Radeon might want to give it a try.

-> GameUserSettings <-
sg.AntiAliasingQuality=4
sg.EffectsQuality=4
sg.FoliageQuality=4
sg.PostProcessQuality=4
sg.ShadowQuality=4
sg.TextureQuality=4
sg.ViewDistanceQuality=4

Simply increased the effects beyond the standart of 3 (Max). Don't seam to have any effect.
Oh make sure to turn on write protection, else the game will overwrite your settings.

As I said I have no idea if that does much, it looks fine to me and runs acceptable...so maybe you want to give it a try.

Is there a way to turn on the FPS display through the INI file? I know UE has a console command to do it, but Not sure about the INI

Haven't found anything. I use Nvidias FPS counter.
