Mw5: More Mission Types Needed And A Missed Opportunity?

Instead of finding lostech in shops, why not have us look for it? During a raid mission, as a secondary, "hidden" objective, have us destroy caches and scan crates, some of which could contain high level gear or even lostech gear. Sure, you could still find lostech in shops... just make it even rarer? Or hell, shoot up a factory, find a mech inside and claim it as your own. Like, say, a Centurion? (/wink wink). Just make it extremely rare so people don't end up with 10 mechs after 5 missions.
Also, why not have us do actual "search missions". If I recall, you had those in MW2, where you would have to scan bases and dropships. It would make for some needed variety...

Honestly, don't even call it a secondary objective. I would rather stumble it on my own without looking for it if you know what I mean? Game design should promote discovery, instead of feeding us preprogrammed objectives.
Sure, it can be part of the objective of a contract, but it could also be just a surprise.

Finally, I agree with you on something .
On a side note - no wonder they didn't fully follow up on crates in this after the MWO loot crate fiasco. lol. That was fun.
I like OPs idea of additional/optional random secondary quests using the crate system.
Want - sure make it timeline appropriate-
PPC capacitor
Reflective Armor
Reactive Armor
More heat sink types - like experimental ones
improved jjs
Artillery - doesn't even have to be accurate. more for further amping up the atmosphere, which this game already does a great job at.

For those who haven't finished the main campaign...which turns out to be excellent...wayyy later on, you'll see. Dont' want to spoil anything.
AHEM*** You'll wanna be heavily geared up, bc you'll be sweating(and reloading a lot)

the engine has a few objects (up to finished bases) which it arranges purely at random and mission components which it gives.create crates and build a Mission to it , its not in This Parameters for building Worlds.
