binged it yesterday. best bit of "tv" scifi ive seen since, well expanse season 3. way better than anything recent star wars/trek related. for those that read the books, there was tons of setup for the next four books. some direct lead in to nemesis games at the end. many new additional sub-plots in addition to the main plot from the books. characters in the books use more speed. good stuff.

Started the show recently, about halfway through season 2. Awesome hard SF.

i dont have cable or any streaming service (i do have a POS Roku)

is it worth maybe buying DVD'S ?

it would be hard to beat StarGate SG1 ( i did not discover SG1until it was off the air but I still watch the DVDs)

It's not in the vein of Stargate or Star Trek at all. If you're expecting that kind of soft sci-fi you're going to be disappointed.

it is a space opera even if the science is a little hard. babylon 5 fans would probably like it.

I liked babylon 5 when it had space ships fighting

I'm glad you enjoyed the show. It is a great show, between "The expanse" and "Doctor Who", it makes it worth while to watch T.V.

I think the Expanse has become my favorite sci-fi series. I plan to start reading the novels soon.

Yep, great show! I wanted to force me to watch two episodes a day. Well, one day and a half later, I have finished S4 sadly. When will S5 hit?
Also: Star Trek Picard starts soon.

One of the best damn shows lately.

That's the kind of crew I want in my fictional starship. People who won't hesitate to kill in behalf of their crewmates and their ship.

Hopefully there will be some more space action in season 5. Best sci-fi series ever.)
