So... Has anyone else finished the story arc and found themselves wondering what happens after March 3050? I've noticed the Star Map changes regularly as the timeline advances, as does weapon and Mech availability. Naturally this piqued my curiosity, so I saved up a few hundred million C-Bills, fired all my sub-par back-up pilots, tucked all my Mechs away into cold storage and started system hopping faster than you can say "I can't drive 55!"

Eventually I hit August 3049, then moved on to March 3050 and stopped in June 3050. Guess what I've found...

Seems not everyone knows what happens in 3049/50 and will probably result in a DLC.

What's strange is that several alien mechs and an alien dropship are in the game's files.

Or were, many of the folders became emptied with the launched game (though the number of folders significantly increased, beta only had 2 clan mechs while the launched game has at least five empty folders referring to Clan mechs).

(They're "aliens" until someone at Comstar realizes this is the return of Kerensky.)
