Oh yeah!

After being marked on the map, and seen and targeted (and likely shot a bit) at a base about 600m away.

Posted my homies just out of range, then jacked up their scouts.

Next thing I see, is the the assassination target come in on a drop ship.

Looked just like mine.

With his homies...

I don't think that's what happened. They probably got an RNF drop, but the assassination targets are always on-map and don't get dropped.

He was there at the base, then he dropped on top of me (was no longer at the base). It happened. I didn't catch the movement on my map. It was very unexpected.

I don't even use a Dropship in most missions anymore. I bought some Teleport tech and simply appear on the Planet Surface now days.

Certain maps have you already on the planet @ last post.

Until our Dropships can fire back...I like appearing on the Planet already :)
