They're not impossible, but they appear to be 'grindier'.

I'm not worried about those, the 500 match score for a loot bag is a lot higher than in past events though.

It is accumulated.
You don't have to have 500 match score performances.
Having cumulative based objectives means that people do not YOLO/Kamikaze in games. Trying your best rather than suicide running & quitting means you will get the event done faster... The suicide runners are always a big issue during lootbag events when it's 100 match score per loot bag (non-cumulative).
Cumulative is always better, especially when it means you actually have to attempt to play out a match.

Yup, I knew that it was cumulative, I was just noticing that it was higher than the usual 100 or 150 per loot bag and you are correct, it will very likely reduce the 'yolo/kamikaze effect' in matches.
I already have most, if not all of the cockpit items so the challenge for me will be to improve my match scores (never a bad thing ).

Lurms, AMS...
I was actually thinking about dropping a few matches over the event, but this discussion already makes me salty enough to -not-
has it ever come to your mindS to just shoot stuff, kill stuff and get a high matchscore the right way?

Is my math wrong, or is that a ridiculous amount of games they expect people to play in 2 weeks? I doubt even the top players would average 500 over 150 matches.

You'll need around 300-350 games if you consistently score 200-280 MS. That is a lot. I don't play nearly half as many games as that PER MONTH But yeah, Matt has increased the number of days now to include 3 weekends. So, 20k MS per weekend and a thousand or so per weekday is a very achievable split without tiring ourselves out. I might even be able to complete Halo : CE
