THIS, exactly. It was fine to promote it a bit before launch but I could not handle more of it here, no wonder I've left the place months ago. All I have left from them is the MWO Twitter account and just last week I gave them a warning that I'm about to unsbscribe if they again post any MW5 news. Maybe there is a reason why someone don't follow the MW5 Twitter account? Like they are not interested?

edit: I see they have changed main forum name to MechWarrior Universe now but I see there is a dedicated section for MW5 too, and of course a fully dedicated MW5 website they should focus on.

If you buy MW5 you can get ~6h of fun and no mod will get it higher, unless you like to grind for some reason...

Looking forward to those DLC's. I hope they will be worth it. Also hope that the talented parts of the community will come up with more great stuff.
I'm still having loads of fun with MW5 and I played way more than 6 hours.

I can see that unfortunately some hate towards MW5 has not faded away.
I don't get it, it's really easy to ignore news on MW5 for the people not linking it.
And in the end MWO benefits from MW5 too. Keeps the lights on.

When you're subscribed here to the forums you like, say Annoucements, you receive an email for evey thread they start. I'm here for MWO announcements. If I wanted MW5 news I would be there. Same for Twitter, I follow the MWO Twitter account and not the MW5 one for a reason. I like MWO because of many players online, MW5 is single player. I know about 4 players coop too but it's now MWO.

BTW it's not hate, it's just no interest.

Mine's hate. Keep your MW5 junk in it's forum. We're here for MWO. I know PGi doesn't even care enough to update the prizes for the seasons for Solaris, but some of us still care for MWO.

Hard to imagine, I know. You sold out to Epic, you lied to us for months about it. You've earned all the negativity shown to you PGI. I want you to understand that.

I know you don't care. I'll just play MWO until the Epic money runs out, and you shut down, hopefully someone responsible who cares for more than money gets the property next.

I can get people been angry on the way the EGS stuff went.
Promising a Steam release and than negating back on that wasn't great. I wish they could have done the same like Rebel Galaxy Outlaw did, where it was clear from the start that it would be an EGS exclusive.

At the same time, I get why PGI did it. For a small developer like PGI and wth MWO no longer that profitable, a guaranteed income means job security.
Gaming business is not a nice business really.
