Any News Of A New Balance Patch?

Hi guys, since PGI has extended their License for this game, Can we expect New Balance Changes?

You could bet your account if they did any it wouldn't be big or improve much of any thing. A year's worth of actual bug and weapon improvements wouldn't help the game much. There was that time the community made a huge attempt to balance the game for pgi but pgi said f u.

Pgi's balance varies from poor to medicore.

Well, some players want the game to be more Aggression Oriented rather than Strategic Oriented I think... can we make the game a little different if there are new balance changes?

The balance is alright at the moment to be honest.

Hopefully not. You will find strong disagreement between players on what changes need to be made to "improve" balance. It's pretty good right now, chances are they would do more harm than good if they tried to fix the few things that need slight adjustment (atm veagles are bullsh*t and everyone knows it :P )

Patch Notes 4:21:2020

Weapon Changes:

ATMs
The HSL modifier on ATM-12 is reduced to 1.
The HSL modifier on ATM-9 is reduced to 2.

Ballistics
C-MG damage is reduced from 0.10 to 0.08

Game Mechanics
Stealth mechs now glow bright pink when stealth is activated.

The above wouldn’t surprise me in the least.

all lock-on weapons now do 10% of dealt damage to the firing player.

any mech standing in the cap zone now takes 3 damage per tick

sub 100 damage matches results in an immediate 2 minute penalty, with the usual stacking timer

equipping more than 3 different weapons on your mech results in its immediate deletion from your hangar and the removal of its mechbay.

I think PGI would be more likely to do the opposite.

Also, very occasionally you need 3 weapon types, but that is quite an edge-case.

For the sake of self-balance, every weapon system has now a HSL limit such that you can't use two of them at the same time, prompting fantastic builds like these....

Current balance isn't that bad though, mostly specific mechs need a little help in terms of agility and such.

You're not seeing either clan or is dominate CW (sorry I mean FW... sorry I mean FP) at the moment for example.

You want aggression go play CoD, whats the problem? ... BT/MW was always about tactics, and if anything MWO isn't "strategic oriented" enough.
