Hey all,

Old player just getting back into the game here. Is there any resource that has a decent breakdown of the current meta? I liked the writeups MetaMechs used to do, but it seems like they stopped updating years ago.

Just trying to figure out which of my mechs to dust off and dump some c-bills into.

Thanks!

This should be the most up-to-date list. You can find some explanations on that site, too.

Thanks! But what tier means? S, A, B, C? S is the best C is the worst? Or how? (I have to copy paste my mechs a lot because I am relatively new player)

The tiers on grimmechs are based on competitive play. And yes, S is best C is suboptimal yet still workable. All builds listed there are servicable in QP.

Read the site.

It explains the rank system for you.

https://en.wikipedia.../wiki/Tier_list
Indicating the top tier as S-tier has been a common convention for some time.

And there is the problem, quick match can not be compared to competitive. Sure this is a useful tier list, but in PUG games other Mechs can also shine.
Especially because nescar is a thing in the current meta, faster Mechs/loadouts work great at the moment.

I bring mostly Comp loadouts to all Qs.

They work fine and absolutely can be compared.
