How many batteries do you need to run to score as much as a kill ?

First things first, only run batteries if you're going +120kph, preferably with jump-jets to save time wasted from detours.

Start of match run batteries until the firing lines clash, then get in on the action, once you're down to internals it might be worth switching back to batteries depending on how many are left on your team.

If the 'mechs unskilled, just run batteries. XP payout is much better than kills.

No matter what mode it may be, ALWAYS KILL THE ENEMIES FIRST. ALWAYS. Even in Faction Siege attack. Kill enemies first and then worry about the generators.

Enemy 'Mechs are always the most important resource in any game mode, deplete those first. Blame the amazing game design for that one.

In FP if you run batteries for 15mins you can actually make MORE chills be doing 0 damage than if you did 1500.

I especially like the ECM tower that renders the useless LRM users, like you, even more useless.

Not that you'd know anything about that while you hide in a ditch lobbing LRMs around.

Why you so mad at LRM users?

You're a good enough player to cancel out a potato or two. Why you so afraid of a little handicap?

Played this mode again tonight and made two battery runs before the fight got too hot. We lost. From now on, unless asked, I plan to hunt battery carriers instead.

If you're fast, like, 120kph fast, get the first battery to power up the Radar (or Jammer if you know that the enemy team has LRMs). Then, get back to the team and fight. Don't run around solo and get killed.

Jammer won't do much as long as the enemy is not in "your half" of the map. It doesn't affect the whole map.
