LRM boats get more kmdd then kills.
A fast streaker can inflate the numbers better, with more kills,
A atm veagle is the top of inflating mechs, with much more kills.

All lock weapons, all spreading, the only point they miss is pinpointdamage.
But how will you messure meaningfull pinpointdamage?
By destroyed components? Posted Image

I would not mind the missile damage bloating KMDD's as that still shows that the missile boat was somewhat active/useful in the match. In comparison to the other measured options, that would be an ok tradeoff.

They do calculate the accuracy by weapon in the stats, that might be used here :)

We seem to get a fair number of metrics from each match but need to focus on personal stats and not team stats.
A win/loss ratio can be influenced by an individual but is ultimately a team stat so is not a great metric.
Match score might be the obvious one but does not necessarily tell the whole picture as there are ways to pad the score.

It does need to be averaged out over a number of matches.

Does using the stats we get for the match bonuses like lance in formation, saviour bonuses, KMDD and all those other things need to be taken into consideration?
Does it need to be identified according to weight class and then averaged over that as well?

match score is still a fairly good measure of work done. it doesnt say anything about the quality of that work or if that work helped result in victory (it could have easily worked against it). player may just be good at the one thing that has a bad weight value. or player may be good at something thats either hard to measure or isnt tracked at all. for example a player who is really good at head shots and can regularly and rapidly take perfectly good armor and weapons out of the game, probably doesn't get what they deserve, the lermtater at the edge of the map gets more points for uselessly splattering small amounts of damage everywhere just to fold when the brawlers get inside their range.
