Hej, I like to use bluetooth headset for games and comms. Except that only MWO disables sound when i start client, even stops the sound coming from for example Youtube music stream... hear a few static clicks and then all sound stops. If I turn headset off sound returns to speakers. But this is not good without headset I cant voice chat, tried restarts and a few other things but nooooo.

Anyone else with this issue or similar can give a pointer? I will add this is ONLY with MWO headset and mic works fine elsewhere.

TIA

(sorry it is in wrong forum sub.chan, looked for a better one didnt see it :P)

Bro, not cool. A link to endless threads? How about a link to answer the question. I have the exact problem as above and have been trying for weeks to find the fix.

tl/dr for people who dont want to click the link:

A 50% workaround is to turn off the option to allow desktop apps to access microphone from the microphone settings in windows settings. it re-enabled sound for the game (as well as the rest of my computer) although I do not have access to the microphone
