Bin a bit since I took out one of my Warhammer and I forgot how much I like this mech. What Warhammer builds do you guys like. I like pulse boat 6D

Running Whammy's without PPC's just feels wrong but I do like my LPL + ERML loadout.

There are other things I like running PPCs on more like my Sparky heavy PPC jump sniper or Thunderbolt 9S with the ultra high ER PPC shoulder mounts. But yea LPL and ER meds are golden together

My favorite builds are sinful because they don't have PPC's but the dual AC20 or LB20 builds are just so good.

Following because I like Dakka on my BW.

You can get away with 2x Rac5 if you want. Not very effictient or smart, but it's stupid loud.

Rac 5 x2 is pretty great on just about anything that can fit it

That seems a bit meagre on a heavy? I can do 4 srm 6s on my Phaket with some mpls.

Not that I have that much knowledge to work with.

You're forgetting the Clan-Tech Crutch, the Huntsman despite being 20tons less has "more" tonnage to work with.

• Half-weight Launchers: 3 SRM6+A weigh 13.5 tons on the Warhammer, 4 weigh 10 tons on the Huntsman,
  
• 7 Slot Endo and Ferro: Whammy saves 3.5 tons using Endo, Hunstman saves ~4 with Endo+Ferro (Whammy can't fit Ferro).
  
• Engines: LFE's way 25% more than Clan XLs.

Now, I'm sure someone is going to scream at me because I referred to Clan-Tech as a "Crutch", but as you noticed despite not having "that much knowledge to work with" you immediately cottoned on to the fact that Clan mechs can fit more ordnance than their IS counterparts.

The flip side is PGI have been more generous with quirks and mobility stats on IS mechs. Which means certain IS mechs when min-maxed around their quirks run comparable to Clan-tech mechs.

Right, the clan gear thing. I don't have a WHM-7S anyway, so it's academic, but it just doesn't seem worth it?

Bushwacker P1/S2 can outgun and outrun this with LE engine, so no, it dosen't worth it.

it isn't. the plattform is not the best, the build is not the best - nor is it overly good built.
the bushi does it better, for less weight, and with a 4th srm6 launcher on top.
as do other mechs/variants.

Actually i replaced one heatsink in the arm with another ml. And yeah it sure isnt anything meta, just wanted something different from the usual laservomit/ dual autocannon stuff. But so far nearly beat the 1000 dmg mark with it. Could also remove ams, artemis and and put pulse lasers in. In the end its okayish.
