I've seen multiple threads on the Fw forums about this. Call it OP teams, stacking whatever.

I've played most of this afternoon, nine matches so far, and won one match.

Last match I played we lost 14 to 48.

Most have been stomps, making it frustrating.

Since the op groups are not going to police themselves I have a suggestion.

How about once a team gets 12 kills up you break out the long tom? The more kills the winning side is up over 12 the more often the thing fires.

It won't change the outcome of the match but it may slow it down a little to allow the other side a little breathing room.

Just a thought.

Thanks Haze.

Ash, takes one to know one.

Not one of you can carry a team of inexperienced pugs to victory all by your lonesome. Git Gud, whatever.

I didn't like spending the afternoon, 10 matches, getting slaughtered by different op teams. Icing on the cake was the last match with BCMC/Evil.

You are not going to do 3k in damage when the pugs around you are seemingly melting.

Since I've seen you gents travel in packs, you are part of the problem.

I don't particularly care to put myself out there to be criticized for making a suggestion. Its bad enough in game. When you get a 6 man lrming team on Caustic jumping your $hite because you mentioned it probably would be prudent to have a narcer. Lost that one, and the match.

The above comments are a good example of when I've tried to make suggestions in game or on the forum. I get verbally abused, my mother's virtue called into question, taken team damage and tk'd.

I'm an average player, but I play a lot and have been around for some time.

So one big middle finger to the lot of you.(not Haze ;o)

Unfortunately there are other pressing issues that seems to become apparent recently - more and more new-ish QP players have migrated to FP, including cadets. These pilots brought trial mechs ("Sorry I don't have many mechs yet"), Spiders, Panthers, non-narc Ravens, Commando and other light/medium mechs on Siege first wave. On top of that, we have more pilots who are AFKs just like in QP.

You can still (try to) carry hard, but the circumstances stated above is basically making things a lot tougher. We have (new batch of) pilots who are shooting themselves in the foot.

People running in packs in a game mode specifically made for organized groups and teams?... you know... the game mode that warns you about this before you begin?

I wonder why?

Doesn't FW literally have a warning you have to accept before you play? Something along the lines of "there will be big teams who will beat you"?

On the contrary, I have had many close matches dropping against different teams in a group of 3-4 players. If these 'OP' teams weren't around at all I probably wouldn't bother playing at all. Imagine how boring each match would be if there were no groups to compete against?

Nice! He was lrming, I know it! ;o)

Let me correct my statement to say the average player cannot carry the team, McGoat didn't either, even as skilled as he obviously is.

cmon dude, there were 3 evil guys, 1 bcmc (me) plus lhommex on boreal attack. After you suicide rushed all your mechs into us wave 1 and rage quit, your remaining 11 teammates proceeded to put up a pretty decent defense, we never even managed to make our way into the spawn. You just need to chill a bit

lol... if LRMs is the first thing that comes to your mind, then you have yet to see actual skill.
