San Francisco's NBC outlet has a series called Bay Area Revelations. It's an insanely awesome documentary series about the history of the area. It covers many topics, like the Bay's contribution to surfing culture (the biggest waves in the world are at a spot called Mavericks off Half Moon Bay), movies (such as Lucasfilm and Industrial Light and Magic), hip hop (the North side of the West Side).

But there is one episode I know will be of interest to everyone here: the story of Space War, Pong, Atari, Electronic Arts, Apple, the Evil Geniuses, Ladyclicks, Shred, Shoutcasting, Madden, LifeWithLaughs, and more.

In short, it is the Bay Area's role in... The Evolution of the Video Game.
