I often use bolt-on.

But it doesn't make sense for the bolt-on to fall off in one machine gun fire.
There is an advantage that you can decorate me with bolt-on.
But what does it mean if it's expensive, and everything runs out in less than a minute?

1. Change Bolt-on to indestructible
2. Or increase HP.

I think it’d be nice for PGI to put in an option where by we can toggle the physics of the bolt-ons. I’d like to see mine last the whole match, and others, too.

Concidering people want to turn off warhorns I can allready hear the people that then will demand that bold ons can be turned off. *sigh*

I actualy find some of them to be pretty funny and I only see very few people running them so yah go for it. Make them stick.

Also...more glowing eyes. Looks very cool on the Atlas.

Now that's not true. You can actually make them fall off with a TAG, and it would be remiss of your team mates if they do not help you out by cleaning your solaris left overs off your mech for you.

Bolt ons add geometry to your 'Mech, making it more difficult to pin point locations to hit. For example, shields can hide the division between side and centre rear sections. Giving them hp, even if your attacks still passed through them, would allow you to maintain the obscurity of your 'Mech's geometry.

Also, they're truly, truly ugly.

I don't think some of them are ugly. I find many to be appropriate. Such as that nuke strapped to the jenner's back making it even more of an xl ez free kill.
