An undiscovered tomb is found in Egypt, and the sarcophagus is sent t a University in California. When the mummy is revealed a green fungus is uncovered. This fungus eats away human flesh at a high rate. It does not take long for the mummy to start walking around once a crystal starts to glow on it's chest. The mummy goes after anyone in possession of a set of crystal that are being traded as romantic gifts. At the end of the movie the mummy transform into a space traveler.

From time to time you get to see what the mummy sees in a green gray tint. Not all that scary. Not for kids. Language, violence, gore, nudity, lame special effects.
