How about a mode where you don't have any guided missiles. I think they ruin the game. They take less skill to play and they are BORING to play.

Nobody forces you to use such weapons.

And if you are on the receiving end, you can equip your 'Mech with Anti-Missile System.

Every 'Mech in MWO can be equipped with at least one AMS. There are even 'Mechs that can use two, three or four AMS.

So, martian, is it your job to **** on everyone else's suggestions, or is it just a hobby with you? This is the kind of "community" I see in MWO: hostile, insular, elitist. Is this how you make people feel welcome? Is this why the player pop is shrinking?

What I wrote is true.

If you do not want use LRMs, ATMs or Streak SRMs, then simply do not use them. But I do not think that having a new gamemode, where the players are banned from using them, is a good idea.

If you want to find some defense against guided missiles, then the solution is very easy.

I do not think that fracturing the MWO playerbase and adding a specialised gamemode like this is a good idea. Very probably it would up as Solaris - unused and empty. Wasted money for PGI.

PGI is merging gamemodes to save costs, not creating a new ones. I have even posted the screenshot of Russ Bullock's statement.

And if you think that everybody will always agree with your suggestions, then I am afraid that you you are going to be disappointed.

Or find a mech with stealth-armor, and just laugh on their faces.

Dude, there's hostile insular elitism in the community, but you haven't gotten it prior to making this statement.
