IS just forces u to get more specialist mechs for the maps/role. Don't blame the tech if u are not willing to adapt.

It can be done but pales in comparison to superior clan tech.
That is the way the game is supposed to run. IS is supposed to be WEAKER than clan. Anybody that says different IS lying to you.
The problem is that most players can't handle that weak tech and the good players aren't going to remove an obvious advantage. It is like playing vs Clan while they defend. Most players just can't miss that obvious advantage as most maps players are getting hammered by Clan tech out of range while they move into position.
There is fine line between getting rolled while running IS and PGI has taken advantage of that at EVERY angle. It is SO obvious the makers are pure tech, non poptarting, no-respawn and limited weapon cool-down fans. All things that kill this game especially the cool downs which had to be compensated with something they just made up. "ghost heat"

Sadly I don't play enough to even get close to what I could do before SJ1 was started up in the Skye Rangers.
QP can be fun for warmups but beyond that, the no-respawn crap is boring as hell. The rewards have never changed from PGI's BIG old thumb.
Are there any day and prime time IS Faction groups? 12 PM to 12 AM The German units are cool but some don't play into later hours. Bless those German guys as they have always had the IS loyalist down.

I'm not new (Y E O N N E/Yeonne Greene). The point of my query was to see if you weren't yet another one of those special individuals who doesn't even run the good builds before claiming "CLAMS OP!"

2. Q: Why if FP now domiinated by mostly ballastic weapon mechs when mid/close range?
I was shocked to find that FP was dominated mostly by ballastic weapon mechs, when I played FP for the first time last week.
I've read elsewhere that FP is mostly Energy Weapons (since 30min game you will run out of ammo for both ballastic and missiles).
What gives?
3. So which long range IS drop for ER Large Laser is better?:
Option A:
Battlemaster (Hellslinger hero) @ 85ton
Stalker STK-3FB @ 85ton
Warhammer WHM-4L @ 70ton
Commando COM-2D @ 25ton
~~Total Drop Tonnage = 265ton
Option B:
Annihilator (Mean Baby hero) @ 100ton
Warhammer WHM-4L @ 70ton [ER Large Laser]
Warhammer WHM-6R @ 70ton [more Ballastics]
Commando COM-2D @ 25ton
~~Total Drop Tonnage = 265ton
Thank you in advance for your advice!
