PGI: We're worried that new player cadets might encounter the troll accounts of top tier players. To prevent this we will instead feed new player cadets directly to the main accounts of top tier players by starting them off in tier 3.

PGI: We're worried that releasing on the same day as Cyberpunk 2077 will cause us to have low sales on December 10th. To Prevent this we will instead guarantee ZERO sales on December 10th by not launching.

Given what few details we know of PGI's impending acquisition by EG7 I can understand why they'd want as many sales as possible to go on 2021's 1st quarter ledger but damn, at least be up front about it guys...

PGI just announced that:
a) PGI will be sold to another gamemaker, Enad Global 7, by 31st-Dec-2020.
b ) MW5 launch on Steam/GOG delayed until Spring 2021, as well as Xbox support for MW5.

Do not worry, Russ Bullock knows well what he is doing and he has the entire history of MechWarrior Online and MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries to attest it.
