I don't think it's terribly ironic that a dev who knows he puts out out half-baked tripe actively tries to limit his contact with the community and then proceeds to remove discussion from his next project that had to be finished by players.

While I'm anti-white knight, and love to complain, there is a point to be had here.

This game has gotten so bad, the community dissatisfaction with the game has gotten so bad- it's a pretty toxic environment. I have a feeling there's a lot of us that keep trying to play, keep trying to force ourselves to enjoy MWO out of nostalgia and to justify all the money we've spent over the years. It's a pretty miserable and predictable cycle.

The forumites are miserable, the chat in games is nothing but misery and negativity, match wait times leave you plenty of time to second-guess your life choices, PGI will always be sure to find new ways to disappoint us all.....and yet we keep on doing it, keep feeding into it. I'm as guilty as anyone. I just spent more money, because I couldn't help myself, but now I'm having trouble forcing myself to play because matches have been even more horrific than usual during this event, and people are even more depressingly unhappy every match.

It's one big vicious cycle, and I'm pretty sure everyone still here would qualify as an addict on some level, because there's very little logic to continuing to support PGI/MWO in 2020+....yet many of us will keep doing so, and then keep complaining about it, because that's what MWO is now. It's become the gaming version of dating the crazy chick who treats you like garbage, but is so hot and good in bed that you suffer through it. Nowadays though I certainly struggle to figure out what keeps any of us coming back, because the sex isn't even that good. We just keep hoping it will be, one more match...one more match and I'll have some fun....I just know it.
