"Cyberpunk 2077 sets new standards for graphics and therefore hardware. But not only the graphics card and CPU, but also the RAM can play an important role for the FPS, as we recently found out when testing the Patriot Viper Steel RGB for the first time with Cyberpunk as benchmark. In today’s review, we’ll be comparing different RAM configurations on the latest and fastest platforms from AMD and Intel to see how you can get the most frames out of your CPU and graphics card."

This would be useful if I had CP2077.

Well, on PC the game is playable quite well though honestly, CDPRED games are usually in the best shape when they release the GOTY versions of it, so waiting either for a cheaper offer or the GOTY sale is a reasonable option!

Aside of that i feel we can get some info out of it in regard what RAM is preferable on an AMD system.

I have chosen 2 Sticks a 16GB Dual Rank with rather slow 18CL but at 3600 rating so i fare quite well as speed stil beats timings as it is easier to get speed than timings done.

i run a g.skill flare x kit, ( F4-3200C14-8GFX ) rated for 3200 @ CL14 ... you'd probably struggle to find many brand new kits around .... but my 3800x is quite happy to lock the sticks down to 3800mhz @ CL16 without too much struggle ....

realistically, if your willing to learn enough, and bang your head onto walls, and have your system crash on you occasionally until you've spent the time dialining everything in ... you can get a good result out of fine tuning pretty much any stick rated for CL16 @ 3200 ..... and the differences between the two will be minor ....

Who would want to play that game at 1080p though? At that res most of the details are muddied up given how hilariously detailed they are. You almost need a 4k screen to appreciate it at ultra.

People with 1080p monitors shouldn't be having many performance issues though as that res topped out on need for powerful cpu and gpu ages ago. Even rdr2 and cyberpunk run well on modest systems at 1080p. It's only when pushing bleeding edge levels of effects at 4k you need a bleeding edge pc.
