Autologout Not Consistent

Only noticed recently and I don't get it.

If you Login only to use the Forums then leave your PC for a while, you come back to find you have been auto logged out after a certain time.

If you Login to watch an active event page update as you play then leave your PC for the same amount of time with the event page open, you are never logged out of anything.

as far as I could figure, there's no such thing as an auto-logout. You just sometimes get logged off (shortly after you first logged in most of the time).
