Skill tree is usual for paper lights - mobility to the speed tweak, all firepower that you can grab, operations if you running laser-heavy build, sensors until you comfortable with decay values.

I also suggest that you get the PIR with the 4 AMS ! ... I think its the A variant.
For some events you need to kill missiles with AMS and a SINGLE LASER AMS together with 3 AMS which need ammo is the best you can get for this purpose

You'll get a lot more from putting points in Heat Gen than in Cool Run.

And pir 1 only need ammo nodes in firepower. No operations and less firepower than normally needed. More room for mobility, strikes etc.
