maybe we need to have an event where you hunt forumites for loot and glory. anyone with more than 5k posts would become a target.

Why not have an open bounty board instead:

• Players may post bounties on other players.
  
• Posting a bounty costs 1 and 10,000 - this sets the bounty on the player at 10,000
  
• Players may continue to contribute MC and CBills to increase the bounty
  
• Maximum bounty a player can accumulate is 10,000,000

• If you score a killing blow on that player you win the bounty.
  
• Maximum payout for killing a marked player is 500,000

Oh boy that sounds like fun. Only problem is it gives those who don't play anymore, but have a couple hundred million c-bills in their coffers, the ability to really chap some hides.

OTOH, that sounds like a feature, not a bug!!! DO IT!!!!

That was the biggest problem with this event. It should have been if your team killed one of the targets you got the item or if your team kept the target alive you got the item.

I'm all for it so long as two or more drop on the same match on opposite sides, and they are restricted to 20 tonners or 100 tonners.

All team on kill or defense sounds nice, if it was a once off to avoid devaluing things. But would still result in people missing out. Devs only played while I was asleep due to time difference, so missed out on even trying for a dev kill medallion.

make it so the whole team gets a prize if you keep the target alive. sort of like a less derp escort mode.

trust me you were lucky not only is the medallion probably the worst looking cockpit item in the game so far the matches they were in were awful.

If you were lucky it was one team suiciding into the other trying to get the kill or people venting at the pgi employee whatever grievances they had while doing the above.

Why they didn't do what every other company who has this kind of event and make it so that it spreads ie you kill a dev and get the item now any time you are killed that person gets the item and so on. That makes it fun rather than a nightmare. My other idea was just something that could have been fun and more team oriented.
